Recap: The Padres drew first blood on an Adrian Gonzalez double in the first inning, but that would be the last run they would score. Mike Pelfrey was brilliant in nine innings of work as he gave up one run and struck out six. The Mets would tie the score in the seventh on a Jose Reyes solo home run. The game would go into extra innings until Ike Davis sent the fans home happy with a walk-off homer in the 11th.
