The Mets will open the 2019 regular season with a six-game road trip against the NL East rival Nationals and Marlins, the team announced on Wednesday afternoon.

The 50th anniversary celebration of the 1969 World Series championship team will also take place during the 2019 season, but details will be released in the coming weeks, the Mets said.

The Mets will open the season at the Nationals on March 28. They also will play the Nationals on March 30-31 before going to Miami for a three-game series against the Marlins.

Major League Baseball said in a news release that all 30 teams will open on March 28, the earliest Opening Day in its history, excluding special season-opening games at international sites.

The home opener at Citi Field will be played on April 4 against the Nationals.

The first Subway Series games against the Yankees in 2019 will be June 10-11 at Yankee Stadium. The Mets will then host the Yankees at Citi Field on July 2-3. The Mets will have July 4 off and then host the Phillies for a three-game series, which will lead into the All-Star break.

The Mets’ longest road trip is in June, an 11-game trip to Atlanta, Chicago (to play the Cubs) and Philadelphia. The Mets will have two 10-game homestands, April 22-May 2 against the Phillies, Brewers and Reds, and Sept. 6-15 against the Phillies, Diamondbacks and Dodgers.

The Mets will also play additional interleague series games at Citi Filed against the Twins (April 9-10), Tigers (May 24-26) and Indians (Aug. 20-22).
