Injured Mets pitcher Matt Harvey, who was not with the team on Saturday when they clinched the NL’s top wild-card berth, did post a tweet offering congratulations.

To the North Carolina football team.

Harvey tweeted to congratulate his alma mater, North Carolina, for an upset college football victory over No. 12 Florida State.

“That kick...!!!! @GoHeels #UNCvsFSU,” Harvey posted on his verified account at 7:13 p.m.

North Carolina beat FSU, 37-35, on a final-second 54-yard field goal.

Forty-six minutes later, after several Mets fans on Twitter reminded Harvey that his team had done something on Saturday, too, Harvey put up a second post on Twitter and Instagram.

“I am so proud of this team,” he wrote, this time meaning the Mets. “As hard as it has been watching from afar, today is a great day to be a Met! I am supporting you and cheering you on…all the way. #LGM”
