Matt Harvey’s first minor league rehab start didn’t last long.

Pitching for Class-A Brooklyn, Harvey allowed one run in one inning of work against Hudson Valley on Saturday.

The righty also walked a batter during his stint. He threw 18 pitches, though only seven for strikes.

Harvey has been on the disabled list since June 15 with a stress injury to the right shoulder. During that time, Harvey has worked to strengthen muscles in the back of his shoulder, which pitching coach Dan Warthen described as having atrophied following surgery last season to deal with thoracic outlet syndrome.

Harvey is 4-3 with a 5.25 ERA in 13 starts this season.
