Righthander Dylan Owen threw seven no-hit innings for Caguas in the Puerto Rican Winter League.
Owen struck out three and walked two as his team beat Gigantes de Carolina, 5-0.
Owen was named MLB.com's Short-Season Starting Pitcher of the Year in 2007 with the Brooklyn Cyclones. In 2010, Owen had five no-hit innings for Double-A Binghamton in his debut. He went 4-4 with a 3.94 ERA for Binghamton and was 3-4 with a 7.11 ERA at Triple-A Buffalo.
Needless to say, no Mets pitcher has thrown a no-hitter in the big leagues.
