The Mets will wrap up their spring training slate with a trip to Arlington, Texas, for a pair of exhibition games against the Rangers April 3 and 4, the club announced on Monday.
The games will serve as the Mets' final tune-up before the season opener April 6 against the NL East champion Nationals.
The rest of the spring training schedule will feature its usual heavy dose of NL East foes in addition to games against the Red Sox and a home and home against the Yankees.
The Grapefruit League schedule begins on March 4 against the Braves in Lake Buena Vista. The Mets' first home game will be against the Tigers on March 6.
The Mets will host the Yankees on March 22 before traveling to Tampa to face them again on March 25. The Red Sox come to Port St. Lucie on March 8.
Of the Mets' 33 exhibition games, 16 will come against NL East opponents. Season and group tickets for spring games are on sale while single-game tickets will be offered starting Jan. 17.
Single-game tickets for the regular season go on sale Nov. 21.
