Pat Misch (0-1, 1.50 ERA) will make his second start of the year against Bud Norris (5-7, 5.42 ERA) Thursday night in the series finale.
Misch gave up just one earned run but three unearned runs in a 4-0 loss to the Phillies in his first start of the year. He gave up eight hits and two walks in six innings but got no run support. Misch is 1-0 with seven strikeouts and a 3.27 ERA in 11 innings against Houston. He’ll want to avoid former Philadelphia third baseman Pedro Feliz, who is batting .571 with a homer and three RBIs against him.
Norris is coming off a performance Saturday against Pittsburgh in which he struck out a career-high and Minute Maid Park-record 14 batters. He's 3-2 with a 4.06 ERA in his last eight starts, striking out 48 and allowing 46 hits in 51 innings. The Mets will want to jump on his mid-90s heater.
