Niese wins, Santana loses

It was like day and night -- literally -- for the Mets on Thursday in a doubleheader split against the San Diego Padres. Johan Santana was inconsistent in a 4-2 loss in the first game, but Jonathan Niese pitched a one-hitter in the night game as the Mets won 3-0.
