Jose Reyes said this morning that he spoke to the FBI three days ago about his association with Dr. Anthony Galea, who is under federal investigation for allegedly distributing performance-enhancing drugs to professional athletes.
"They asked me if he injected me [with HGH]," Reyes said. "I said no."
Reyes did say that he worked with Galea for platelet-rich plasma treatment to help in the healing of his torn hamstring tendon last season, but that was the extent of his involvement. Reyes said he spoke to the FBI agents for about 45 minutes about his work with Galea and how he knew about him.
"I'm not worried," Reyes said, "because I didn't do anything wrong. I was honest with them and told them the truth."
