The average asking price for tickets to the three scheduled World Series games at Citi Field was $1,558.17 as of Thursday morning, down 6.54 percent since before the Mets lost Game 2 Wednesday night to fall behind the Royals, two games to none.

TiqIQ.com, which tracks the secondary market, said Game 3 Friday was the most costly of the three games, at $1,793.97. The least expensive ticket for that game was $600.

SeatGeek.com reported that the median listing on its site for Game 3 dropped 15 percent after the Mets' Game 2 loss, from $1,975 to $1,676.
