R.A. Dickey lets the rest of us in on his knuckleball secrets and tosses some fluttering, rotation-less baseballs David Letterman's way on Wednesday's edition of the Late Show.

Aside from a demonstration, Dickey talked about his experience in the All-Star game.

"Yeah, I threw a good knuckleball for a strike and then kind of a mediocre knuckleball that – it went right back up the middle, and then I got a strikeout, Mark Trumbo, then hit somebody – Paul Konerko," Dickey said. "So, typical knuckleball – you know, you hit a guy, you strike out a guy and then I ended up getting a double play with [Miguel] Cabrera."

Dickey also confirmed that he indeed hit Konerko with a pitch during Tuesday's game.

"Yea, you know, I can hear it," he said.
