Sunday reading: Bengie Molina, Eric Chavez, A.J. Burnett and Luis Hernandez

--My Sunday Insider features an update on Bengie Molina, a flashback concerning Eric Chavez and a note on Alfredo Aceves.

On February 8, I blogged about Molina, the last remaining Type A free agent, noting that I was waiting for him to resolve his status before running my annual Offseason Winners and Losers. Well, now that it's apparent Molina isn't signing with anyone right now, I'll publish that feature tomororw morning.

--A.J. Burnett overcame a speed bump in his start yesterday.

--Jorge Vazquez has impressed Joe Girardi.

--The Mets' second-base competition is not going well, Anthony Rieber writes, and that's why Luis Hernandez seems to be in the mix now. Not much to say about this situation. It's an obvious disappointment for the Mets.

--Have a great day. I'm flying to Florida tonight and will report from spring training from tomorrow through Friday.
