The Yankees are hoping to re-sign Hiroki Kuroda, who went 16-11 with a 3.32 ERA in his first season in New York, but if they can't there are some similar options on the market.
Zack Greinke is the best starting pitcher out there, but it would certainly cost the Yanks. He made $13.5 million last year and will be after a big long-term deal. He went 15-5 with a 3.48 ERA and 200 strikeouts last season with the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Angels.
Other right-handed starting pitchers available include Dan Haren, Edwin Jackson, Shaun Marcum and Ryan Dempster.
