Aaron Judge smacked his 25th home run of the season on Thursday against the Angels. And though the Yankees lost the game, 10-5, Judge’s homer made one young fan’s night.

Just before the full count offering from Jesse Chavez to Judge in the bottom of the second inning, the WPIX broadcast cut to father and son Jason Greco and Massimo, 5, holding a sign that read: “I came to my 1st game to see Aaron Judge!”

With that, Yankees broadcaster Michael Kay said: “Let’s see if Judge gives him a story to tell.”

That he did.

Judge crushed the ball into Monument Park for a three-run home run.

“He said — at 2:22 this afternoon — he said I wish Aaron Judge hits a home run for me today,” Jason Greco told the YES Network’s Ryan Ruocco after the 425-foot shot. “And that’s not a lie. So I said, ‘All right, I guess your wish might be coming true, man.’ So it came true today.”
