Alex Rodriguez has now hit a home run in his teens, 20s, 30s and 40s.

A-Rod, who turned 40 on Monday, took Matt Harrison deep on a 3-1 pitch in the top of the sixth to extend the Yankees' lead over the Rangers to 4-2. Rodriguez has homered on his birthday six times, an MLB record.

The home run is Rodriguez's 24th of the season, which ties him with Mark Teixeira for the team lead.

His first career home run came off of Tom Gordon on June 12, 1995 when he was 19.

Gary Sheffield, Rusty Staub and Ty Cobb are the only other players to homer in their teens, 20s, 30s and 40s.
