The Yankees on Wednesday announced the re-signing of outfielder Andruw Jones and worked toward completing Hiroki Kuroda’s contract.
Jones, who agreed to terms last month, is guaranteed $2 million and can earn another $1.45 million in incentives. The 34-year-old hit .247 with 13 homers and 33 RBIs.
Kuroda, with whom the Yankees agreed to terms Jan. 13, is expected to finalize a one-year, $10-million pact shortly. Kuroda, 36, was 13-16 with a 3.07 ERA for the Dodgers last season.
