Sabathia and Hughes, then hope they don't lose. That's the state of the Yankees starting rotation.
Dustin Moseley (3-2, 4.76) goes for the Yankees tonight in Toronto. In his last two outings, Moseley has allowed eight earned runs over 9 1/3 innings. He gave up three home runs to the Tigers in his last start. He's allowed nine homers in 39 1/3 innings. The Blue Jays lead the majors in homers with 190.
With Andy Pettitte (groin) out until sometime in September, options for starters do not exist beyond Moseley and Ivan Nova, who pitched fairly well in the Yankees' 3-2 loss Monday. Sergio Mitre is not to be trusted with another start.
The Blue Jays will start Marc Rzepczynski (1-1, 4.76), whose name is pronounced just as it sounds.
As for the lineup, Derek Jeter should return. He was rested last night, but did pinch hit. Alex Rodriguez continues on the disabled list.
