Mark Teixeira on Wednesday donated $1 million to Harlem RBI, an East Harlem charity of which he is a member of the board of directors.

That's a big number. Here's a smaller one for Teixeira: 4.

Teixeira has four home runs in the team's first five games, making him just the fourth Yankee to ever do that. (The others are Mickey Mantle in 1956, Moose Skowron in 1957 and Alex Rodriguez in 2007.)

Teixeira is the fourth Yankee since 1920 to have at least 10 RBI in the team's first five games.

Teixeira is the fourth baseball player of all-time to hit three home runs with at least two runners on base in a team's first five games. (The others are Baltimore's Charles Johnson in 2000; St. Louis' Mark McGwire in 1998 and Minnesota's Brant Alyea in 1970).

Right now, you're thinking "Who comes up with these things?" The answer: Elias Sports Bureau.
