Elvis Andrus vs. Andy Pettitte may be a factor in the Yankees favor in Game 3 tomorrow night in Yankee Stadium.
Pettitte has the great move to first, so the Rangers' speedster may not be off and running as he was against the Yankees in Game 2.
Andrus did not cost the Yankees Game 2, but he certainly rattled starting picther Phil Hughes when he stole third and then home as Jorge Posada threw to second when Josh Hamilton broke from first on a double steal.
Even opposing manger Ron Washington implied Posada should have faked the throw to second, which would have kept Andrus at third.
With fans wondering why Posada would make such a bone head play, the catcher later said the decision for him to throw down came from the dugout.
If that was the case, a veteran catcher like Posada should have the ability to audible.
