Jeter removed with tightness in hamstring

 Derek Jeter left in the seventh inning of Monday's game against the Indians with tightness in his left hamstring. Jeter was hit in his left leg in the second inning on a pitch thrown by starter Mitch Talbot. The shortstop remained in the Yankees dugout after the announcement of his injury. No other details were immediately available.
