Kearns or Gardner in left in ALCS?

Brett Gardner had just two hits in 10 at-bats (and three strikeouts)  in the three-game sweep over the Twins, so does Joe Girardi consider using Austin Kearns in the next round?

Gardner has had a sore wrist for it seems like months, but the potential of his speed to steal a key base, a run or even a game remains strong. Gardi has to decide if Kearns, whose had his own injury woes and isn't hitting much, is worth a try.

In the ALCS, Gardner could leave the lineup alone and try to feed off the success of the last series, at least in the first game or two and then make adjustments as necessary.
