No Bautista for Blue Jays

TORONTO -- The Blue Jays will be without home run leader Jose Bautista for the second game of a four-game set.

Bautista left Thursday night's game -- a 16-7 Yankees' loss -- after twisting his right ankle on an awkward slide into third base in the fourth inning. He is listed as day-to-day.

According to CBC Sports, Bautista, who leads the majors with 31 home runs, received treatment after the game and did not speak to the media. Blue Jays manager John Farrell said Bautista caught a spike in the dirt.

Here's the Blue Jays' Friday lineup: Davis CF, Thames DH, Escobar SS, Lind 1B, Hill 2B, Snider LF, Encarnacion 3B, Patterson RF, Molina C, Morrow 1

RHP Freddy Garcia (7-6, 3.13) will face RHP Brandon Morrow (5-4, 4.60).
