Raul Ibañez certainly made an impression during his playoff debut with the Yankees, and now he's looking to make an impact for victims of superstorm Sandy by hosting a fundraiser/benefit concert Thursday at the CW Post Tilles Center.

"After hearing about all of the devastation in New York, I feel that I have to be there to help so many of the people that helped make me feel at home during my first season with the Yankees," Ibañez said.

The benefit, which starts at 7:30 p.m., will feature Jay Black, Jose Feliciano, and fellow emcees Yankees broadcaster Michael Kay and actor Chazz Palminteri. Tickets are available at
