The Yankees have landed in Minnesota and are preparing for another throwdown with the Minnesota twins. Will it be a repeat of last year where the Twins basically just rolled over and died? The New York Daily News thinks yes. The Twins beg to differ.
The Daily News had the phrase "EZ Pass" as their back page on Monday after the Yanks clinched the wild card and won a date with the Twinkies. Definitely a swipe at Ron Gardenhire's men. The back page is being prominently displayed on a bulletin board in the Twins clubhouse. A picture of Jorge Posada is displayed with the headline and a member of the organization scrawled next to the photo "note the strikeout swagger."
The Twins have a lower ERA and a higher batting average, per the lovely Suzanne at Star-Trib blog SOOZE!
As Mills Lane always said "LET'S GET IT ON!!"
