The Yankees will open the 2019 regular season at the Stadium against the Orioles on March 28, the team announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Major League Baseball said in a news release that all 30 teams will open on March 28, the earliest Opening Day in its history, excluding special season-opening games at international sites.

The Yankees will open the season with a six-game homestand, including three games against the Orioles and three games against the Tigers.

The first games against the Red Sox will take place on April 16-17 at the Stadium. The Yankees will host the Red Sox again at the Stadium for a four-game series May 30-June 2. The teams will play next on June 29-30 in London, with the Red Sox as the home team. It will be the first time major league games will be played in Europe.

The Yankees' first Subway Series games of 2019 against the Mets will take place at the Stadium on June 10-11. The Yankees will then travel to Queens for games at Citi Field on July 2-3. The Yankees will play the Rays in Tampa on July 4.

The Yankees will play the NL West — the Diamondbacks, Rockies, Dodgers, Giants and Padres — in additional interleague games in 2019. The Yankees will play at the Giants (April 26-28), Diamondbacks (April 30 and May 1) and Dodgers (Aug. 23-25), and will host the Padres (May 27-29) and Rockies (July 19-21).

The regular season ends for the Yankees with a five-game road trip at the Rays (Sept. 24-25) and the Rangers (Sept. 27-29). The Yankees will play 15 games on the road in September, the final month of the regular season.
