Yu escapes trouble as Rangers beat Twins

Yu Darvish wriggled out of trouble in five-plus innings, Josh Hamilton homered and Texas beat host Minnesota, 6-2, Saturday. Darvish allowed two runs, nine hits and four walks. He struck out four.

Indians 11, Royals 9: Shin-Soo Choo hit a two-run double in the 10th inning for visiting Cleveland. Kansas City rallied from seven runs down in a testy affair featuring three ejections and a pair of bench-clearings near-fights.

Orioles 6, Blue Jays 4:Nolan Reimold hit a two-run homer in the ninth to power visiting Baltimore.

White Sox 5, Tigers 1: Gavin Floyd threw six scoreless innings and Alexei Ramirez homered for host Chicago.

Mariners 4, Athletics 0: Jesus Montero hit a solo home run and a two-run double and Hector Noesi threw eight shutout innings for host Seattle.

Astros 5, Marlins 4: Carlos Lee drove in the tying run with a two-out single in the ninth and an error by leftfielder Logan Morrison allowed the go-ahead run to score for visiting Houston. The Astros had four hits and the Marlins three errors in the inning as Houston scored four times.

Braves 2, Brewers 1: Mike Minor pitched two-hit ball into the eighth inning to give host Atlanta its fourth straight win.

Dodgers 6, Padres 1: Ted Lilly pitched seven innings of two-hit ball in his season debut and Matt Kemp hit a pair of two-run homers for host Los Angeles.

Giants 4, Pirates 3: Emmanuel Burriss scored on a throwing error by Clint Barmes in the bottom of the ninth for host San Francisco.

Nationals 4, Reds 1:Edwin Jackson threw a two-hitter for his fifth career complete game as host Washington won its fifth straight.

Cardinals 5, Cubs 1:Yadier Molina had a pair of RBIs for host St. Louis.-- AP
