Did you know that David Robinson has the most Olympic medals of any American men's basketball player in history? Or that Carmelo Anthony is tied for the second-most in history?
Newsday.com rolled out a new database earlier today that gives users the ability to search through every American to win an Olympic medal in the history of the Games.
Robinson, for example, won three Olympic medals; bronze in Seoul in 1988, and gold in both Barcelona and Atlanta in 1992 and 1996.
Michael Jordan? He won gold in Los Angeles in 1984, and then gold again with Robinson in Barcelona in 1992.
And, of course, there's Burdette Haldorson, who won a pair of golds in 1956 and 1960.
