Dwight Howard has reportedly signed an ETO waiver, meaning he will remain with the Orlando Magic through the 2012-13 season.

What's this mean for the 2012 free agent class? That there's a new king in town.

Deron Williams now occupies the No. 1 spot in my free agent rankings. Williams has a player option for the 2012-13 season, similar to Howard. Unlike Howard, though, Williams hasn't signed a waiver giving up his right to decline the final year of his contract, and hasn't given any indication that he will do so.

1. Williams
2. Steve Nash, Phoenix Suns
