Carmelo Anthony said his right biceps is feeling much better than it was Wednesday and he will start in Sunday’s All-Star Game.
Anthony was elbowed in the arm in Wednesday’s loss to the Raptors and said he didn’t know if he would play Sunday.
“There was [doubt],” Anthony said. “The day after, it was definitely sore. Once I got some treatment we found out it wasn’t as deep a contusion as I thought.”
He said after he got treatment, the contusion wasn’t as deep as he thought.
It sounds as if Anthony doesn’t want to play that much though. He said he would talk to East coach Erik Spoelstra about his playing time.
“I’m going to talk to Spoelstra about that,” Anthony said. “I’m going to give him some advice definitely.”
