The Knicks have their summer league roster set.
Syracuse's Andy Rautins, who the Knicks drafted in the second round of last week's draft, is obviously on the roster. So is Stanford's Landry Fields, who the Knicks also drafted in the second round last week.
Patrick Ewing Jr. and Marcus Landry, two familiar names from last summer's roster, are also back.
Toney Douglas, who played well during stretches last season, and Bill Walker, acquired from Boston in the Nate Robinson deal, will also be included.
Walker's name appearing on the roster is key. The Knicks, who are high on Walker, had until Wednesday to pick up the team option on Walker's contract. Walker's presence on the summer league roster means the Knicks will indeed pick up the option.
An intriguing name on the roster is Chris Hunter. Hunter was also with the Knicks last summer. He finished the season with the Golden State Warriors. Hunter is 6-11 and 240 pounds. It will be interesting to see how he performs and whether or not he can help the Knicks in the future.
