The 13th annual Knicks Bowl for the Garden of Dreams Foundation was held Friday night at 300 Bowl at Chelsea Piers.

Jeremy Lin, Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire had the largest groups of
young fans seeking autographs during the evening of bowling.

Steve Novak, who scored 17 points in Wednesday's win over Cleveland and is becoming a fan favorite at the Garden for his shooting, also had a group of followers on Friday night.

The 28-year-old has played for five teams in six NBA seasons and has a career average of 4.4 points per game. But he has eight double-figure games since Lin emerged as a star beginning on Feb. 4. Can his story compare to Lin's?

"His is more impressive because of his age," Novak said. "I've had a lot of time to mature and really felt like this was my time to produce in the NBA."

Like Lin, Novak wasn't getting much playing time until February. But also like Lin, Novak eventually got his opportunity.

"Many coaches told me, 'Your time will come, stay ready,' " Novak said. “This was really a case of that."

Baron Davis has returned from a back injury and has played well recently off the bench. Even with Lin's emergence, Davis said he's happy he signed with the Knicks.

"At this point, I've been the best player on my team for a good portion of my career," Davis said. "I just want to play with other good players and have an opportunity to win a championship."

Some of the celebrities on hand included actors David Duchovny and Matthew Modine, actress Edie Falco, reality TV star Vinny from the "Jersey Shore," and comedian Colin Quinn.
