Knicks' Lee has numbers like Curry in '07

David Lee is in a similar situation as Eddy Curry was in 2007 for an All-Star spot. Curry was putting together a solid season as a dominant low-post scorer. After 44 games, right before the All-Star reserves were announced, Curry, who didn't make the All-Star team that season, was averaging 19.4 points and 7.1 rebounds.

After 44 games this season, Lee is averaging the exact same 19.4 points with a more impressive 11.4 rebounds.

Curry's Knicks were 18-26 at the time the reserves were announced. Same thing this time. The Knicks are 18-26 heading into tonight's game against the Raptors.

Here are some of the frontcourt players Lee is competing against for an All-Star spot:

Chris Bosh

(Toronto/PF)

23.9 ppg., 11.1 rpg

Al Horford

(Atlanta/C)

13.8 ppg, 9.8 rpg

15.1 ppg., 8.3 rpg, 2.19 bpg (2nd in NBA)
