The Knicks filled their 15th roster spot with former Mavericks guard Ricky Ledo.
Ledo, a 6-7 guard, signed a 10-day contract with the Knicks on Thursday.
The Knicks could have brought up second-round pick Thanasis Antetokounmpo from their D-League team. But signing him has salary cap implications for next season. They also want him to remain with the Westchester Knicks, where he will continue to get more of an opportunity to practice, develop and play.
Ledo, originally a second-round pick of the Bucks in 2013, has averaged 1.3 points in 16 games for the Mavericks over the past two seasons. Ledo played 26 games for the Mavericks D-League team, the Texas Legends, and averaged 15.1 points.
