NBA says Lee's 37-20-10 is official

Officials in the NBA basketball operations department reviewed David Lee's triple-double (37 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists) performance Friday against the Warriors and deemed every statistic legit.

There was some question as to whether his final assist, a post feed to Danilo Gallinari, who took one dribble, spun and shot (as you can see in this video here), with 1:28 left in the game was a textbook assist.

It was Lee's first career triple-double, the 81st in franchise history and the first by a Knick since Latrell Sprewell on Feb. 28, 2003 against the Orlando Magic. It was the first 30-20-10 performance in Knick history and 32nd in NBA history, but the first by an NBA player since George McGinnis and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar both did it in the 1975-76 season.
