Sources: Knicks open season in Brooklyn against Nets

New York basketball fans won't have to wait very long to see the Knicks and Nets square off next season.

The Knicks will be the Nets' first regular-season opponent in their new home, the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, according to league sources. Both teams open the 2012-13 campaign with that Nov. 1 matchup, which also will be televised nationally on TNT, the sources said.
