LeBron James' late travel against the Clippers

A substory of the Clippers' overtime win against the Heat last night was one of the late plays in regulation involving LeBron James.

In the past, one of James' most notorious moves with the ball was the "crab dribble," seen here:

He added a new "move" to his arsenal in the final minute of Wednesday night's game: an illegal jump stop, followed by a pivot. The play in question, which you can see below, helped send the game to overtime, and stirred up a mini storm.

On Twitter, ESPN.com writer Tom Haberstroh and NBA.com writer John Schuhmann, among others, discussed the play with followers, arguing that it was a travel. Rob Mahoney blogged about the play, complete with the excellent video breakdown below, on Hardwood Paroxysm, one of the blogs in the ESPN TrueHoop network. And later in the day, an NBA account, @NBAOfficial, tweeted that James should have been called for a travel.

See the play below, which obviously ended up being inconsequential in the Heat loss.
