The Liberty will play all but two of their home games at the Westchester County Center this summer while current owner Madison Square Garden Company continues to look for a new owner.

On the same day that the WNBA released the league schedule the Liberty issued a press release that they will continue to operate the team with current management and coaching staff in place as they search for a new owner.

The Westchester County Center, which has a capacity of 5,000, will be the Liberty’s primary home court. The team will play two games — versus Phoenix on June 5 and Seattle on Aug. 6 — at Madison Square Garden.

The Liberty is one of the WNBA’s original franchises and has been owned by James Dolan and Madison Square Garden since the league was founded in 1996. The Westchester County Center is also the home of the Knicks’ G League team, the Westchester Knicks.
