Metta World Peace made no secret how he felt about teammate Andrew Bynum in an interview set to air tonight on WLIE 540 AM:
"Andrew is the best center in the NBA."
World Peace -- who made no mention of Dwight Howard -- pegged Bynum as the league's best as part of a wide-ranging interview with Siddique Farooqi and Ammad Sheikh of the South Asian Sports Network.
On the other hand, the Lakers forward didn't speak with anywhere near the same conviction about head coach Mike Brown. World Peace said Brown did "pretty well" this year, and said that the first-year L.A. coach "made a couple of mistakes."
World Peace did add that "for the most part, [the Lakers] had a chance to succeed, to move forward. Everybody in the world saw it, and [the players] didn't step up to the plate."
World Peace also discussed teammate Kobe Bryant (and how much he has left in the tank), the aftermath of the elbow incident involving James Harden, St. John's basketball -- specifically potential lottery pick Moe Harkless -- and his thoughts on Saturday night's Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley fight.
You can hear the full interview on the South Asian Sports Network tonight at 8 p.m. on WLIE 540 AM.
