Ray Allen has been unconscious from 3-point land to start the 2011-12 NBA season.

Newsday.com readers have noticed.

In our latest poll, Allen took the title of the league's top marksman by a landslide. He's well-deserving, too, connecting on 40 of 70 3-point attempts for an otherworldy 57.1 percent to start the year. He's tied for the league lead with Brandon Rush, who has hit on 28 of 49 3-point attempts.

The voting results:

Allen - 50%
Ryan Anderson - 17%
Richard Jefferson - 12%
James Jones - 5%
Kyle Korver - 10%
Somebody else - 7%

This week's poll should be a little more competitive:

We want to know who NBA readers think the league's fourth-best team is, after the Thunder, Heat and Bulls (though not necessarily in that order). The Clippers may look like an easy choice after beating Oklahoma City last night, but what about the Hawks, Mavericks, Nuggets, Pacers, Lakers and 76ers? Vote below, and check back next week for the results.
