As it has throughout the Olympics, Google rolled out a new sports-themed Doodle this morning. Today's sport? Basketball. And for the second straight day, it's an interactive game.
Users are challenged to connect on shots first from the free throw line, then the top of the key, then the three-point line and beyond. You get 24 seconds to shoot using the spacebar as your power lever.
Other Doodles since the Games began include the "Opening Ceremony," archery, diving, fencing, rings, field hockey, table tennis, shot put, pole vault, synchronized swimming, javelin and hurdles. Hurdles and basketball are the two interactive games so far; the rest were sketches.
Post your best score in the comments. My top score (so far) is 39 points. (#HumbleBrag.) I anticipate several more attempts though. Sayonara productivity.
As for the real-life Olympic action today, Russia opened up quarterfinal action with an 83-74 win over Lithuania this morning. Later on today, France plays Spain, Brazil plays Argentina, and Team USA plays Australia.
