UConn deals No. 1 Texas 2nd loss this week - with ease

Jerome Dyson scored a career-high 32 and host Connecticut overcame a 10-point, second-half deficit to upset top-ranked Texas, 88-74, Saturday - the Longhorns' second consecutive loss after winning their first 17.

The Huskies (13-6) outscored Texas, 54-32, in the second half to earn their first win over a ranked opponent this season in five games. Kemba Walker had 19 points and 10 assists for UConn. Damion James scored 23 for Texas (17-2).

Kentucky 101, Arkansas 70: Darius Miller had a career-high 18 points and DeMarcus Cousins got his 10th double-double as the host Wildcats kept alive the nation's only unblemished record. No. 2 Kentucky is 19-0, 4-0 in the SEC,

Kansas 84, Iowa State 61: Cole Aldrich netted 19 as visiting No. 3 Kansas (18-1, 4-0 Big 12) won its fourth straight.

Syracuse 76, Marquette 71: Wes Johnson scored 22 to lead the No. 5 Orange (19-1, 6-1 Big East) at home.

Michigan State 65, Minnesota 64: Kalin Lucas scored 22 and Raymar Morgan 17 as the No. 6 Spartans (17-3, 7-0 Big Ten) rallied on the road.

Georgia 78, Tennessee 63: Trey Thompkins scored 21 and host Georgia upset the No. 8 Vols (15-4, 3-1 SEC).

Oklahoma State 73, Kansas State 69:James Anderson scored 30, boosting visiting Oklahoma State past No. 10 Kansas State (16-3, 3-2 Big 12).

West Virginia 71, Ohio State 65:Da'Sean Butler scored 21 as the host No. 11 Mountaineers (15-3) rallied from 14 down to beat No. 21 Ohio State (14-6).

Georgetown 88, Rutgers 63:Greg Monroe finished with 21 points for host No. 12 Georgetown (15-3, 6-2 Big East).

Purdue 69, Michigan 59:JaJuan Johnson scored 21 and E'Twaun Moore 19 for host No. 13 Purdue (16-3, 4-3 Big Ten).

Temple 62, Fordham 45: Juan Fernandez scored 13 and visiting No. 16 Temple (17-3, 5-0) stayed unbeaten in the Atlantic 10.
