Big weekend for boxing, HBO triple-header, Showtime double dip

It's a big weekend for boxing as the two leading networks for the sport, HBO and SHOWTIME, will televise several highly anticipated bouts.

HBO will televise a big tripleheader, featuring a highly-anticipated bout between WBA & WBO Lightweight World Champion Juan Manuel Marquez (51-5-1, 37 KOs) and Australian and WBO Interim Lightweight World Champion Michael Katsidis (27-2, 22 KOs),

The WBC Welterweight world title is also on the line as Andre Berto (26-0, 20 KOs) takes on Mexico's Freddy Hernandez (29-1, 20 KOs).

The next big bout is between junior lightweights  Celestino Caballero (34-2, 23 KOs) and Jason Litzau (27-2, 21 KOs).

SHOWTIME will also feature a couple of hot bouts. Arthur Abraham (31-1, 25 KOs) and Carl Froch (26-1, 20 KOs) will face off in the final Group Stage 3 bout in the Super Six World Boxing Classic for the vacant WBC 168-pound championship.

In the second bout of the split-site doubleheader on SHOWTIME, unbeaten Andre Ward (22-0, 13 KOs) will defend his WBA 168-pound crown against Sakio Bika (28-4-2, 19 KOs) live from the Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif.
