Nate "The Galaxy Warrior" Campbell and Sergio "The Latin Snake" Mora have found a new home with Golden Boy Promotions, it was announced on Thursday.
Campbell (33-5-1, 25 KOs) a former WBA, IBF and WBO world lighteweight champion, hopes to make another run at the 140-pound title.
"I am really excited to become a part of the Golden Boy Promotions team," said the 37-year-old Campbell. "I am confident that Golde Boy will be able to help me to achieve everything that I am still looking to accomplish in my career and I couldn't be happier."
Golden Boy's day wasn't over as it also announced the signing of Mora.
Mora (21-1-1, 5 KOs) made a name for himself after winning the first season of the reality boxing show "The Contender". He he added to his resume with a win over the late Vernon Forrest in June, 2008.
"I met Oscar in Big Bear in 1999 when I was training for the Olympic trials and he was training for [Felix] Trinidad. Seeing him camp was all the inspiration I needed to be a fighter," Mora said. "I'm honored to be a member of the Golden Boy Promotions family and am confident they will help me accomplish my goals."
