In this episode, Manny Pacquiao borrows from Mills Lane. So will we: "Let's get it on!"
Best spoken line, Antonio Margarito: "I don't know how hard Manny Pacquiao hits.
But it seems impossible that he'd have the power of a super-welterweight."
Best spoken line, Antonio Margarito, part 2: "In the ring it's just gonna be me and
Manny Pacquiao... Once the bell rings, I'm sure Manny Pacquiao will say, "What have I
gotten myself into?"
Best spoken line, Ricardo Williams: "Three rounds with him is like five. There is
nowhere to run." Is that the former Olympian, Ricardo Williams, sparring with Margarito?
Best written line: "What separates the very good from the very best, a blessing of
supreme skill or a superior measure of motivation?"
Freddie Sez: "I thought it was going to be a tough fight, I don't think so any
Freddie Sez, part 2: "He thinks he's a tornado. The real ----- tornado is coming."
Best Supporting Cast: Rashad Holloway, Pacquiao's sparring partner. He also had an
interesting story to tell about sparring with Margarito.
Scenic View: The opening, aerial shots of Los Angeles.
Training Days: Great sparring footage of Pacquiao. Nice intensity.
Love the theme music, not enough said about that.
Love the kids training at Robert Garcia's gym.
Love Garcia wearing two body shields.
How come they showed Pacquiao's appearance with Jimmy Kimmel, but not the duet with Will Ferrell?
I think it's important Freddie Roach once again pointed out to Pacquiao that he can't slow down when sparring with bigger fighters. Speed is the key to the fight and he can't get comfortable and take himself down to their level.
