Klitschko beats Haye on all 3 cards

Wladimir Klitschko scores an easy unanimous-decision win over David Haye, Klitschko retained his IBF, WBO belt and takes Haye's WBA heavyweight belt. The judges scored it 117-109, 118-108, 116-110.

The Neutral Corner scored it 118-109.

It's the 14th straight win for Wladimir Klitschko (56-3). It was short work for Klitschko, who wasn't really challenged until the 12th round. Haye was rarely the aggressor and kept looking for an opening instead of trying to force the issue. Klitschko will have a choice of opponents.

Who knows what's next for Haye (25-2). He talked himself into a big-money fight, but failed miserably to deliver. The hope is someone else will step up and challenge Klitschko.

Round 1: Difficult round to judge. Neither fighter really connected. But Haye actually landed two overhand rights and stole the first round. Klitschko didn’t throw any power shots. Haye gets the round, because he was a little more active. Haye wins, 10-9.

Round 2: Klitschko gets round 2. He's landing the jab now and landed a really good right with about 25 seconds left in the round. He only threw four rights, but he landed three of them. If this continues, Klitschko will dominate. Klitschko wins, 10-9.

Round 3: Haye landed a nice right, his first real solid punch of the fight. Haye landed a combo with 40 seconds left, but Klitschko came right back with his own combo. Klitschko barely gets the third round. Klitschko wins, 10-9.

Round 4: Klitschko landed a solid right in the first 25 seconds of the round. He continued with the jab. Haye, on the other hand, didn’t throw many punches in the round, because he’s having a tough time getting to Klitschko. Haye landed a hard right late in the round, but not enough to win the round. Klitschko wins, 10-9.

Round 5: Klitschko landed a great combo, including a solid right with 45 seconds left in the round. Other than that, there wasn’t much to talk about in this round. Klitschko’s nose was bleeding. Klitschko wins the fifth, 10-9.

Round 6: Tough round to score, but Klitschko continues to make it difficult on Haye to get in a clean shot. Haye landed a jab, but that was about it. Klitschko is just going to wear Haye down. Klitschko wins again, 10-9.

Round 7: Klitschko got deducted a point by the ref for pulling Haye down to the canvas. Haye actually landed a left hook with about 50 seconds left. Klitschko landed a nice right early in the round. The round is a push, but only because of the point deduction. The round is a push, 9-9.

Round 8: Another round to Klitschko. Klitschko threw twice as many punches as Haye and landed some of his jabs. Haye has done nothing to even make Klitschko sweat the last few rounds. Barring something crazy happening, Klitschko will win again, easily. Klitschko wins the 8th, 10-9.

Round 9: Haye started out the round with a nice left, but never followed it up. And he slipped to the canvas again for about the eighth time. It was more of Klitschko boxing and Haye looking for a big shot. Haye is totally off balance when he throws a power shot. Klitschko wins the 9th, 10-9.

Round 10: Klitschko dominated another round. He landed at least 15 more shots than Haye landed. Klitschko rocked him with a hard left with about 30 seconds left. Klitschko wins again, 10-9.

Round 11: Haye got knocked down in the 11th, but the knockdown was more because the ref was upset at his flopping. Klitschko would've won the round anyway. Klitschko is out-punching Haye, 124-64. Klitschko wins the round 10-8.

Round 12: Haye landed a hard right and actually stunned Klitschko. Klitschko showed some fire and tried to come back. Haye won the 12th, but it was way too little and way too late. Haye wins the 12th, 10-9.

The Neutral Corner scored it: 118-109.
