Manny Pacquiao-Juan M. Marquez: Fight Facts

FIGHT FACTS

Manny Pacquiao (53-3-2) vs. Juan Manuel Marquez (53-5-1)

When: Saturday, November 12.
Where: The MGM Grand Garden Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada
TV: The fight will be broadcast on HBO PPV beginning at 9:30 pm.
Purses: Manny Pacquiao will receive a guaranteed purse of $6 million and Juan Manuel Marquez will get $5 million. The $6 million Pacquiao is guaranteed doesn't include anything he gets from the PPV sales or any side deals he has with Top Rank. Pacquiao's total take is expected to be in $22 million range.

What’s at stake? For Pacquiao, he is putting tens of millions of dollars on the line. If he loses to Marquez, he can forget about a megafight against Floyd Mayweather. For Marquez, this might end up being more of a money grab than anything. Not that Maequez will tank it, but he looked terrible against Mayweather.

In other fight news: Timothy Bradley will take on Joel Casamayor in the main undercard. This is Bradley’s first fight since beating Devon Alexander last January in Detroit. Much has chanced since that fight for Bradley, who switched promoters. Top Rank is now the promoter for Bradley, who is still embroiled in a legal battle with Gary Shaw. Shaw is suing Bradley for a breach of contract.
