Huntington will be in the spotlight on Saturday night when several aspiring prospects step into the ring for NBC Sports Network’s Fight Night card.
Huntington welterweight Chris Algieri (14-0, 7 KOs) will take on Jose Peralta (10-1, 6 KOs) in a 10-round co-feature. Another Huntington resident hoping to continue his unbeaten streak is Alan Gotay (3-0, 2 KOs), who will take on Micah Branch in a four-round lightweight bout.
Another Long Islander looking to up his record is Cletus “The Hebrew Hammer” Seldin. Seldin (10-0, 8 KOs) will fight Jonathan “Lil Big Man” of Queens in a junior welterweight bout. Hicksville’s Anthony Karperis (3-0, 2 KOs) will take on Justin Johnson (4-3-4) in a junior welterweight bout.
Undefeated heavyweights Vyacheslav Glazkov (14-0, 10 KOs) and Malik Scott (35-0, 12 KOs) will headline the card in a 10-round bout.
