Boys Bowlers to Watch

Nick Caruana, Sachem, Sr. — The anchor bowler has a 240 average through 15 games. He provides a 1-2 punch with new teammate Anthony Naujokas.

Connor Egan, Chaminade, Sr. — Egan rolled a 224 in Game 2 of a 640 series to help Chaminade clinch its fourth straight CHSAA title last year.

Adam Glickman, Hewlett, Sr. — Glickman had the second highest average in Nassau last season. He will bowl at Webber International University next year.

Brandon Guerin, Bay Shore, Sr. — Guerin bowled a perfect game on Dec. 8 and Dec. 9. He has a 231.5 average through 14 games.

Justin Orobello, East Islip, Soph. — Orobello is young, but still has an impressive 235.7 average through his first 10 games.

Peter Ramos, West Babylon, Jr. — The No. 5 spot anchor bowler has been consistent through 12 games, posting a 231 average.

Kurt Schall Jr., Middle Country, Jr. — The consistent two-handed bowler sports a 233.8 average through eight games this season.

Brandon Soedarmasto, Division, Sr. — Soedarmasto is poised to lead Nassau in average for a third consecutive year. He had a 234 last season.

Christopher Vietri, Holy Trinity, Sr. — Vietri was named the CHSAA regular-season MVP last year. He alternates anchoring Holy Trinity’s A and B squads.

Adam Zimmerman, Deer Park, Sr. — Zimmerman is averaging a 247.5 through 15 games. He set a Long Island record with a 237.42 average last season.
