Boise State tumbles in the polls

Boise State's stunning 34-31 overtime loss to Nevada on Friday night sent the Broncos tumbling down both the AP and USA Today polls.

The Broncos fell from No. 3 to No. 9 in the AP and from No. 3 to No. 10 in the USA Today poll.

The AP and USA Today polls have the same top 8: Oregon, Auburn, TCU, Wisconsin, Stanford, Ohio State, Michigan State and Arkansas.

Michigan State, which finished 11-1 and shared the Big Ten championship with Wisconsin and Ohio State, moved up four spots in the AP poll and three spots in the USA Today poll. Arkansas, fresh off a 31-23 win over LSU, also moved up four spots in the both polls.

Oklahoma moved up four spots to No. 10 in the AP poll and four spots to No. 9 in the USA Today poll after beating Oklahoma State 47-41 on Saturday night.

LSU tumbled five spots to No. 11 in the AP poll and six spots to No. 12 in the USA Today poll. Oklahoma State fell six spots to No. 16 in the AP poll and six spots to No. 15 in the USA Today poll. Alabama, a 28-27 loser to Auburn on Friday afternoon, fell eight spots to No. 17 in the AP poll and eight spots to No. 19 in the USA Today poll.
