Another Jordan sighting as UCF upsets Florida

Jeff Jordan (L), Marcus Jordan (R)

This Jordan character is really starting to turn some heads. Last week, Marcus Jordan, son of Michael, threw down a thunderous dunk in a win over Stetson that went viral on YouTube.

Last night he dropped 18 points as Central Florida upset No.16 Florida, 57-53. Marcus isn't the only Jordan running the lane for the Knights. His older brother Jeff, an Illinois transfer, is also on the team. But he's sitting out per NCAA transfer rules.

This is more than just a once in a generation thing for the Knights. UCF is 6-0 and has practically run through the state of Florida with wins over West Florida, Jackson State, South Florida and now the Gators.

Could they crack the AP or coaches polls next week? If they can handle Southeastern Louisiana, yes. After that, the Knighs have games against Bethune-Cookman, Louisiana-Lafayette, Miami, UMass and Furman before their conference season begins.

I'm not saying they'll be 12-0 when their Conference USA schedule begins, but the Knights could certainly be a double-digit winner by then.
